The EBP Team
Michael Daraz
Michael is the EBP Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day running
of the EBP including all matters relating to strategy. Michael is also responsible for equality
and diversity and health and safety for REBP’s staff, customers and stakeholders.
Clare Huntingford
Clare is the Assistant Manager and works closely with the EBP
Manager and the team to develop and deliver REBP’s programmes and activities.
Clare is the contact at the EBP for Diploma employer engagement and is working alongside schools and
Richmond upon Thames College to develop partnerships between education and business
that will support the applied learning aspect of the qualification.
Kathy Lucas
Kathy is responsible for the Richmond upon Thames’s work experience
programme. This includes, mainstream block work experience, extended work experience,
work experience for students with special educational needs and young people who are not in
education employment or training. Kathy works closely with schools and employers to ensure
that students are provided with a placement that suits their needs and abilities.
Ruby Mir
Ruby is responsible for assisting with the development and delivery of
programmes and activities that help to increase the employability and enterprise skills of
young people. Ruby promotes the benefits of work-related learning to employers and engages
them to support activities.
Lesley Wright
Lesley carries out pre-placements checks on employers and their
premises to assess their suitability to offer work experience placements. Lesley is often the
first point of contact with employers and raises their awareness of how they can support other
EBP activities. Lesley also arranges work experience for Independent schools.
Regis Mujinga
Regis is the EBP apprentice. Regis’s main role is the organisation of
mainstream work experience. He also assists the team to deliver events in schools and
provides administrative support. Regis has recently completed an Apprenticeship in business
administration and is now working towards an advanced Apprenticeship.
Linda McPhee
Linda is the 14 to 19 Adviser for Richmond Borough. Linda works with
all schools, colleges, St Mary’s University College and training providers in Richmond
upon Thames to develop new curriculum developments within the context of the national
developments. She also has line management responsibility for the Richmond Education
Business Partnership. Linda is working closely with the EBP to ensure there is effective
employer involvement in the wider education picture, including Diploma delivery,
apprenticeships and all other routes.
